The experience
A self-supported white-water expedition through the Zanskar Gorge — one of the deepest river canyons on earth. From Leh you acclimatise, drive over high passes to the put-in, then run committing Grade III-IV rapids walled in by 600-metre cliffs all the way to the Indus confluence at Nimmu.
