Rajasthan
A seven-day journey through Rajasthan's softer, greener side — Mount Abu's Dilwara Jain temples, Udaipur's lake palaces, Jawai's leopards on rocky outcrops, and an unhurried night within the colossal walls of Kumbhalgarh fort. A different Rajasthan, away from the desert cliché.
7 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 7

Arrive in Mount Abu — Rajasthan's only proper hill station. After check-in, take a paddle boat on Nakki Lake and walk up to Sunset Point for a panoramic view across the Aravallis.

Morning at the breathtaking Dilwara Jain temples — among the finest examples of marble carving anywhere in India. Then on to Achalgarh fort and Guru Shikhar, the highest peak in the Aravalli range.

Drive north-east to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. After check-in head to the City Palace and end the day with a sunset boat ride across Lake Pichola, past the Lake Palace and Jag Mandir.

Spend the day exploring Udaipur's gardens, temples and lake palaces. Saheliyon ki Bari fountains, the carved Jagdish Temple, and a private boat to lunch at Jag Mandir on the lake.

Drive south to Jawai, a rocky landscape of granite outcrops where leopards live alongside Rabari herders. Evening jeep safari to spot leopards, crocodiles and a remarkable variety of birds.

Drive north to Kumbhalgarh — a UNESCO-listed fort with the second-longest continuous wall in the world. En route, stop at the marble Ranakpur Jain temple, famous for its 1,400 intricately carved pillars, no two alike. After Ranakpur, continue to Kumbhalgarh, explore the fort and the Badal Mahal at sunset, and stay overnight at a heritage resort beside the fort walls.

After breakfast at the heritage resort, drive back to Udaipur for your onward journey home — with marble temples, lake palaces, and leopards on stone outcrops in the rear-view.
