A relaxed seven-day Garhwal hills circuit — from Mussoorie's Mall Road and Kempty Falls to the deodar quiet of Dhanaulti, the lakeside calm of Kanatal and Tehri, and a finale at Haridwar with Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi and an evening Ganga aarti.
7 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 7

Arrive in Dehradun and drive up to Mussoorie, the Queen of the Hills. After check-in, walk the famous Mall Road as the lights come on along the Camel's Back Road.

Spend the day on Mussoorie's signature sights — the cable car up to Gun Hill, the cascading Kempty Falls, the British-era observatory at Lal Tibba, and the playful Cloud's End at the western edge of town.

Drive east to the deodar-forested hill resort of Dhanaulti for Eco Park walks and a stop at Surkhanda Devi temple, then on to Kanatal for the night.

Drive down to Tehri Lake — the giant reservoir behind Asia's tallest dam. Spend the afternoon on the water with boating and jet-ski rides, take a quiet picnic lunch on the shore, and check in to a lakeside resort at Koteshwar / New Tehri for sunset over the reservoir.

Drive down through the lower Garhwal hills along the Ganga to Haridwar in the plains. Easy evening walk along the riverside ghats before tomorrow's bigger sightseeing day.

Take the ropeway up to Mansa Devi temple in the morning and Chandi Devi temple in the afternoon — the two hilltop shrines that frame the holy city. End the day at Har ki Pauri for the famous evening Ganga Aarti.

After a quiet morning, drive back to Dehradun for your onward flight or train. A relaxed end to a relaxed circuit through the gentlest corner of the Garhwal hills.
