Leh-Ladakh
The signature Ladakh circuit for riders and thrill-seekers — 700 km of high-altitude adventure across the world's highest motorable passes. Fly into Leh, acclimatize at 3,500m, then ride a Royal Enfield Himalayan (or comfortable SUV tempo) over Khardung La to Nubra Valley's sand dunes, on to the colour-shifting Pangong Tso, and back via Chang La. Six days of monasteries, mountain passes, double-humped camels, and memories that will outlast the trip.
6 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 6

Welcome to the Land of High Passes. Our representative meets you at Leh airport (3,500 m) and drives you to your hotel. Today is deliberately light — your body needs to adjust to thin air. Rest in the morning, then a gentle evening walk to Shanti Stupa for panoramic Leh views, or explore the local bazaar for apricot jam, pashmina scarves, and Tibetan prayer wheels. Dinner and briefing for the journey ahead.

After breakfast, head out to Sham Valley for a day of stunning monasteries and roadside wonders. Visit Hall of Fame — the Indian Army's moving tribute to Kargil heroes — then Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill (where your vehicle appears to roll uphill), and the dramatic confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return to Leh for a cosy dinner.

Today you cross Khardung La — the highest civilian motorable pass in the world at 5,359 m. Stop at the top for summit photos and certificates. Descend into surreal Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Monastery for a view of the 32-metre Maitreya Buddha, then ride into the Hundar sand dunes for a Bactrian camel ride — rare double-humped camels that were once silk-route traders. Dinner and overnight in cottages or camps.

Breakfast, then the remote Shyok route to Pangong Tso — a dramatic river-cut gorge drive that skips the longer Leh-Pangong road. Arrive by late afternoon at the 134-km-long saltwater lake that changes colour four to five times a day — cobalt blue to turquoise to steel grey depending on the sun. Spend golden hour at the shore, then dinner and overnight at lakeside camps under a million stars.

Wake early for a breathtaking sunrise over Pangong — the lake glows pink, then gold, then electric blue. After breakfast, drive back to Leh over Chang La — the 2nd highest motorable road in the world at 5,360 m. Stop for hot chai at the summit. Reach Leh by evening with time for last-minute shopping in the bazaar — Pashmina, turquoise jewellery, Tibetan singing bowls. Farewell dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, your travel consultant escorts you to Leh airport for your onwards flight. You leave with a backpack of apricots, a certificate from Khardung La, and memories of riding through a landscape unlike anywhere else on earth.
