Day 1 of 7

Touch down at Srinagar Airport and feel the cool mountain breeze as you step into the Valley of Kashmir. Transfer to your houseboat on Dal Lake where a warm Kahwa tea awaits. Spend the evening gliding on a Shikara through the floating gardens and lotus-filled channels of the lake.
Explore the magnificent Mughal Gardens that have enchanted visitors for centuries. Walk through the terraced Nishat Bagh with its stunning views of Dal Lake, then visit the symmetrical beauty of Shalimar Bagh built by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved Nur Jahan. End the day at Chashme Shahi, the smallest but most charming of the three.
Drive through the saffron fields of Pampore and follow the Lidder River into the pine-scented valley of Pahalgam. Known as the Valley of Shepherds, this town sits at the confluence of pristine streams and towering Himalayan peaks. Enjoy a leisurely evening walk along the riverbank as the sun paints the mountains gold.
Venture into the spectacular side valleys of Pahalgam. Visit Betaab Valley — named after a Bollywood film and surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense forests. Continue to the breathtaking Aru Valley where meadows stretch endlessly beneath glaciers, and experience the untouched serenity of Chandanwari, the starting point of the sacred Amarnath Yatra.

Drive to Gulmarg, the Meadow of Flowers, and ascend on Asia's highest cable car — the Gulmarg Gondola. Phase 1 takes you to Kongdoori at 3,080m where wildflowers carpet the slopes in summer and snow blankets everything in winter. The views of Nanga Parbat and the Pir Panjal range from the top are simply unforgettable.
Journey to Sonmarg, the Meadow of Gold, where the landscape transforms into a dramatic alpine wonderland. Drive alongside the Sindh River as it carves through towering gorges, and arrive at a valley ringed by glaciers and snow-covered peaks. Take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, a river of ice nestled in the mountains that stays frozen even in summer.
Return to Srinagar for a final morning on the lake. If time permits, browse the bustling Lal Chowk market for Pashmina shawls, saffron, and Kashmiri handicrafts. Carry home not just souvenirs but the memory of floating gardens, snow-crowned peaks, and the warmest hospitality in the mountains.
