9 days of carefully crafted experiences
Day 1 of 9

Arrive at Jammu Airport / Tawi railway station and drive to Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi shrine. Check in, rest, and walk through the bazaar to collect your yatra slip and pick up essentials for tomorrow's climb.

Begin the 12-km pilgrimage trek to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi — by foot, pony, or palki. Enjoy darshan at the holy cave and the new Bhawan complex, with optional onward trek to Bhairon temple. Return to Katra by evening.

Long but spectacular drive north — through the Jawahar Tunnel that carves under the Pir Panjal range and into Kashmir Valley. Continue past Anantnag and the saffron fields to Pahalgam, arriving in time for dinner.

Spend the full day exploring Pahalgam's emerald side valleys. Visit Betaab and Aru, then carry on to Chandanwari, the snowfield starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, before returning for an evening Lidder river walk.

Drive west through Srinagar and on to Gulmarg, climbing through pine forests to the Meadow of Flowers. Check in to your hotel and take an easy evening walk on the Gulmarg golf course — among the highest in the world.

An early start for the Gondola — Phase 1 to Kongdoori, then Phase 2 up to Apharwat at 3,980m for views deep into the Karakoram. After lunch in Gulmarg, drive northeast to Sonmarg for the night.

Pony or trek up to Thajiwas Glacier in the morning for one of Kashmir's most photogenic walks. After lunch drive back to Srinagar and check into a Deluxe houseboat moored on Dal Lake for the evening.

Explore the Mughal-era gardens — Nishat, Shalimar, Chashme Shahi — and drive up to Shankaracharya for panoramic Dal Lake views. In the afternoon walk through Old Srinagar's wood-fronted lanes and the historic Jamia Masjid.

Final morning on the lake before transfer to Srinagar airport. Carry back saffron, walnut wood crafts, and the memory of a journey that began at a Himalayan shrine and ended on a houseboat veranda.
