Karnataka
A five-day coastal Karnataka circuit threading together the temple town of Udupi (the Krishna Mutt and the eight Ashta Mathas), Murudeshwar (the world's second-tallest Shiva statue on the Arabian Sea), and Gokarna's hippie-trail beaches — Om, Half-Moon and Paradise. South India's quietest beach route, far off the Goa traffic.
