The experience
A high-altitude mountaineering expedition toward Bandarpunch (the 'monkey's tail'), one of Garhwal's great snow peaks above the Yamunotri valley. Glacier school, roped travel and a non-technical snow summit attempt near 5,900m make this a serious introduction to Himalayan climbing.
