Then we drive towards Halebid and visit Hoysaleswara Temple- a 12 century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the evening we arrive at Hampi- an ancient village dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire.

We see Virupaksha Temple, Vitthala Temple and the Stone Chariot followed by a visit the underground Shiva temple, Royal centre (Queen's Bath, Lotus mahal) and the Elephant Stables. Further we visit Lakshmi Narasimha Temple- one of the most imposing sculptures found in the ruined town of Hampi. In the evening we have some free time for shopping.

Upon arrival we visit Badami Caves and Bhutnatha Group of Temples. Further we visit Pattadakal- UNESCO World Heritage site to see the grand Vipruksha Temple. Followed by visit the 5th century stone temples at Aihole- once the capital of Chalukya Dynasty known for intricate stonework. Further we proceed back to Hampi
